Christmas Magic throughout Hotel President
The moment we stepped into the hotel, we were enchanted by the Christmas decorations that adorned the entrance and the lobby. The festive spirit engulfed us as we strolled through the magnificently adorned reception. A symphony of twinkling lights and festive ornaments. The meticulous attention to detail extended in every corner, creating an ambiance of unparalleled warmth. The hotel’s facilities, from the state-of-the-art lobby to the tranquil spa, showcased a commitment to luxury that went beyond aesthetics.
The decoration was so stunning that every time we passed by the lobby, we couldn’t but stop to admire and enjoy the lights and reflections!
Suite Perfection with a View
Our stay in the Junior suite elevated our experience to new heights. The room design seamlessly blended elegance and comfort. While the breathtaking view of Lac Léman acted as a constant reminder of Geneva’s natural beauty. The hotel’s dedication to providing an unforgettable experience was evident in the high attention to details. The space was elegantly but smoothly scented with premium room perfume.
The suite was decorated with an amazing flower bouquet and we were welcomed by sweet treats and a bottle of champagne. The suite had a dressing room, a big bathroom, a second toilet, a working desk & an elegant salon. It was equipped also with state-of-the art TV and sound system.
Culinary Extravaganza
Dining at Hotel President Geneva is a gastronomic journey in itself. Our taste buds were treated to an exquisite lunch at the Bayview by Michel Roth restaurant, which is since May 2023 led by Chef Danny Khezzar, finalist of Top Chef season 14 (France) and who was working with Chef Michel Roth for 8 years. Bayview is a one-star Michelin restaurant offering a menu that dances between innovation and tradition. From the amuse bouche to the dessert and the main dish in-between, it was a feast of flavors. The Endive with Swiss blue cream and walnuts was out of this world and the Monkfish with gnocchi was exquisite. The caffeinated sweetness (coffee-inspired dessert) was a treat on its own.
Arabesque, the Lebanese cuisine restaurant, tantalized our palates during a memorable dinner, with an array of cold & hot Mezze. A perfect reflection of Lebanese cuisine, everything tasted fresh and generous. From the hummus to the labneh, to the kebbeh and others. The kebab, taouk and fish were to die for! The dessert was an innovative retake on classic Lebanese sweets but all with a twist.
The Piano Bar’s cocktails with its elegant setting and live piano playing, were our cherry to top the experience and added the perfect finishing touch to our evenings.
Indulgent Spa Retreat
The ultimate relaxation & care moment awaited in the hotel La Mer spa. There a unique experience unfolded: a spa treatment featuring product testing with La Mer skin care products. The rejuvenating sensation and the high-quality products used, induced an amazing feeling of pampering and rejuvenation. The therapist was an expert with more than 22 years of experience in the domain. Her knowledge and caring reflected perfectly in her advise on the recommended treatments and products. It was such an indulging experience!
Sunday Bliss at Glow
Glow restaurant played host to an unforgettable Sunday brunch By Michel Roth, a lavish affair that showcased an extensive buffet. From delectable seafood and carefully curated cold cuts to an array of cheeses, salads, and mouthwatering desserts. The brunch was a treat to the eyes, even before being a treat to the taste buds. A separate menu also listed a suggestion of hot dishes that are brought on demand.
Every culinary desire was catered to, making the brunch a culinary masterpiece. Sipping on a glass of champagne we were wondering how hard it is to exceed such luxurious experience.
Luxury Beyond the Hotel
Venturing beyond the hotel, Geneva beckoned with its own array of luxury experiences. The hotel concierge can recommend several city experiences to enjoy during the stay, one of which is luxury shopping. The city reputation for high-end shopping is evident in its boutique-lined streets, offering a curated selection of the world’s finest brands. The watch boutiques, synonymous with Geneva and Switzerland, lured into a realm of horological elegance. In fact, the hotel collaborates with some luxury brands to enhance the experience. There is a dedicated Tom Ford and La Mer boutique at the hotel.
